At Shining Light Music, we believe the right playlist is one of the most powerful (and most underestimated) tools in hospitality. Not background noise. Not a shuffled algorithm. A carefully crafted sonic experience that fits your venue, your crowd, and your brand like a glove.

We specialise in curating playlists for Irish pubs, restaurants, cafes and brands - the kind of places where atmosphere isn’t an afterthought, it’s everything.

You’ve spent months - maybe years - getting everything right. The interior design. The lighting. The branding. The menu. Every physical detail in your venue has been thought about, argued over, and refined until it’s exactly what you want.

For most venues, the soundtrack is the one thing that never gets the same care and attention as everything else - despite the fact that it’s the first thing customers feel when they walk through the door. At Shining Light Music, we fix that.

Shining Light Music was founded by Liam Craig, who brings over 15 years of hands-on experience across the Irish music industry - as a performer, artist manager, music educator, and producer. Originally from Belfast and now based in Derry, Liam has a grounded, all-Ireland perspective built on a genuine, lifelong passion for Irish music, culture and the arts.

He is also Director of Music at The Dead Rabbit in New York - widely regarded as the world’s most awarded pub - a role that speaks for itself.

This isn’t curation by algorithm or AI. It’s music chosen by someone who has lived and breathed Irish music culture for decades, and who understands the very specific alchemy of a room that feels right.

Shining Light Music is already working with some of the biggest names in Irish hospitality - at home and across the world.

We curate the sound of the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin and the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in London. We’re the playlist partner for Irish bars in New York, Austin, Los Angeles and London - venues that demand authenticity, not a generic Irish pub playlist pulled from a streaming app.
